How do you find the make of dvd drive on pc?

I am trying to find a firmware update for my dvd drive, how do I find out what make the drive is? Also where can I update firmware?
Check out device manager, Right click on My Computer and Click on Manage. The drivers should be displayed there, right click on the DVD/CD drive there and you will see update and stuffs, alternatively you can open up your PC and look at the label on it and check out google for update.

Right click my computer, click properties, click the hardware tab, click device manager, and collapse dvd/cd-rom drives. It should be under there. Then do a google on it and should lead you to find an updated firmware.

Once you find the make of the drive you can go to their website to download the lastest drivers for the drive.
